Photographs are a way to capture moments telling a story you, your friends and family can look at and stir an emotion.  Being a dad has made me appreciate all the small things that make up this beautiful world we have been blessed to live in.

How I got started with photography...

When I was 13 years old my dad let me borrow his camera to go on a river trip in Utah for a class trip.  I returned home with a broken camera that somehow got sand in it and a roll of film with only three pictures that could be developed.  To this day I still have no idea of how the sand got in the camera or what I did wrong or right for that matter to get three out of twenty-four pictures. 

Fortunately, I did not give up from such a bad experience and twenty something years later through lots of practice, education, and technology I am capable of keeping my cameras clear of sand and have gained the knowledge of how to capture special moments in life.

I love being a photographer and I hope it shows in the photographs I take.  My objective is to capture the real you, which I feel the portrait studios who also sell groceries, tires and clothing fail to achieve.  In the end, you will have a product you and your loved ones will be able to enjoy and treasure.
